Installation

Get started in three steps

Download the installer

Choose macOS (.dmg) or Windows (.exe) above. Your browser may prompt to confirm the download.

Install the application

Mac: Open the .dmg and drag Path-IQ Cloud to your Applications folder. Windows: Run the .exe installer and follow the prompts.

Sign in with Google

Launch the app and sign in with your Google account. Your system browser will open for secure authentication, then return you to the desktop app.

Frequently asked questions

For security, authentication opens in your system browser where your saved credentials, passkeys, and biometric verification work natively. After signing in, you are automatically redirected back to the desktop application.
Yes. Each portal includes a local login option with email and password. Use the credentials provided by your lab administrator or academic institution.
The application is not yet signed with an Apple Developer certificate. Right-click the app and select "Open" the first time you launch it. macOS will remember your choice for all future launches.
An internet connection is required. Slide viewing, AI analysis, case management, and all other platform features are cloud-based and need connectivity to function.
Download the latest installer from this page and install it over the existing version. Your login session and preferences are preserved. Automatic update support is planned for a future release.
